Sex Pistols - Study Time

So...I'd seen Sex Pistols before when I was browsing around BL forums and such, and I was convinced that I would never read the series. The art (granted I had only seen one or two covers at that time) looked odd, and just the title itself made me skeptical. I assumed it was about depraved rock stars with an affinity for animal skins.

When the Sex Pistols OVA was released, I downloaded it just for the sake of adding it to my BL anime collection, and I completely forgot about it until months later when I found myself languishing in boredom. Gods was I confused! I can see why people suggest that you read the manga before you watch it. Animal spirits? Mating? MPREG? D8>

And yet I was intrigued. So I found the manga online, and the rest is history. It's so different from the other BL series I've read. The stories completely suck you in, and the characters are so complex and messed up that you can't help but wonder "What is wrong with you?!" and continue reading. I also fell in love with the art (oh the irony). It's very charming in its own way, and Kotobuki Tarako-sensei's technique improves dramatically throughout the series. ANYWAY, what I am trying to say is I wholly recommend Sex Pistols to any BL fan who is looking for something a bit different from the usual fare. Because I'd really love to see more people get into this series (and fangirl over it with me ahahaa)! <3 *__*

I drew this for myself because I really wanted a Sex Pistols wallpaper of Kunimasa and Norio but wasn't satisfied with any of the ones I found. I love Noririn! He's my favorite character from the series. ;___;

They probably study together a lot (hahaha or try to at least), with Kunimasa trying to cram all that madara information into poor Noririn's head.
